Somehow, in the midst of an otherwise quite brilliant red geranium, these pretty pink and white blooms appeared. At the entry to the law office, they welcome visitors with an unexpected burst of color. Choose it as your wallpaper this week, and appreciate the daily display of beauty in nature all around you. Enjoy! Wallpaper of the Week designs which appear on this site have room on the left side of your desktop for your icons to be visible; in the case of full sized photographic wallpapers, they offer enough uncluttered space for your icons to show up well. Remember to test which works best for your desktop - having the design "stretch" or " center" for best effect. Scroll down this page for directions about making this photo your wallpaper, about changing the color of your icon titles, and about sending this photo as an e-mail . |
To import the Wallpaper of the Week to your computer:
(1)
Right-click ON THE IMAGE ITSELF, and choose "SET AS WALLPAPER"
or "SET AS BACKGROUND;"
(2) If your setup allows, choose the wallpaper setting the stretches
images to fit your entire screen. If the particular photograph or image
does not look appropriate on your monitor in "stretch mode,"
you may simply want to adjust the background color to black or an
appropriate color to complement the image, and leave the image centered.
To change
the appearance of your icon titles:
(1)Choices
you will make to effect this include clicking through the following, in
order. (a) From your Star-up menu, lower left corner of your screen,
choose "Settings," next choose "Control Panel;" then
choose "Display."
(2) When you choose "Display," you will get to “Display
Properties” and you will see tabs at the top.
(3) Choose the tab that says “Appearance.” You
will see a box titled "Color" which displays a color in the
box beneath it. That is the color of your icon titles.
(4)In order to change it, click on the down arrow beside the color in
the box. That brings you a drop-down menu of colors. If you do not like
any of these (they are rather basic), go to the bottom of that drop-down
menu and choose “Other.” That will bring you an expanded palette of
colors. Choose which one you want. Click OK and this will become your
icon title color.
If you are a real Wallpaper of the Week fan, you will want to
change the icon title color to match your new Wallpaper of the Week
selection. It’s easy!
