INSTRUCTIONS FOR SAVING E-CARDS: (Print these instructions out - then you'll have them handy)

For saving e-cards you have received:

The e-card is on a server, so it is displayed on the internet. When you receive the notice to pick up the card you have been sent, you're actually being directed to a mini web-page with your card on it. When you see the card, you can choose to do one of two things, provided you are using Internet Explorer as your browser. Choose EDIT + SELECT ALL, then choose COPY. Then open either a blank e-mail which you can address and send to yourself, or open a blank document in your word processing program, and choose PASTE (or in some cases, PASTE SPECIAL). This will make a copy of what you are seeing. You can then either send the e-mail to yourself and archive it, or you can save it as a word processing document.

For saving e-cards you are sending to people:

You can use the same process as above, but you save the card at a different place. After you make your selections of card, music, message and place all the address information, choose PREVIEW FIRST. Then when the preview page appears (it's also a mini web-page with your card on it), you can use the saving process outlined above: Choose EDIT + SELECT ALL, then COPY to either an e-mail you send yourself or to a word processing document.

For those with knowledge of COPY + PASTE:

Of course, you don't have to do SELECT ALL. That gets all the stuff on the page, including parts you might be able to do without. If you are comfortable with the COPY + PASTE routine, simply highlight the part of the card you want copied, then choose COPY, and then PASTE it into an e-mail you send yourself or a word processing document you archive.

And now you can return to the POSTCARDS PAGE and send some more cards!
