The reindeer are restless: it's soon time to fly

with Santa's big sleigh through deep winter's sky --

they've waited all year - this one night is theirs

to ferry large gifts (and small teddy bears).

Trees are all trimmed, the lights all aglow --

showing through windows on new-fallen snow.

Houses so grand, some small (and between)

are all decorated with bright red and green.

While you are waiting, fun things are in store!

Christmas-time memory opens a door

to a treasure you lost a long time ago,

when you listened for sleighbells high over the snow!

So find the old kid that you used to be,

when you went to see Santa and sat on his knee --

when you thought that he knew if you were bad or good --

and you lived every day as you thought Santa would!

Enjoy every minute of your holiday season!

Go out of your way to find a new reason

to make it brand new, to make it unique --

the treasure you find is as good as you seek!
